Dear Friend,
Welcome to our brand new website! We hope you will take a few minutes to explore and learn more about the company’s past, present and future.
Our new look is actually part of a company-wide makeover: With five successful productions under our belts, we recently decided it was time to grow to the next level. To that end, we have created a strategic plan, refined our mission statement, re-organized our staff and re-evaluated our place in the Boston theatre community. We are thrilled to announce our second season, featuring the Boston premiere of Claudia Dey’s Trout Stanley and a fresh, new take on Edward Albee’s classic, The Play About the Baby.
Our new identity isn’t just about the work we’re doing right now – We’ve also set several long term goals for both fiscal and artistic growth.
* In two years, we would like to be an advertised, resident company
at the Boston Center for the Arts.
* In four years, we would like to have cultivated an active Board of
Directors.
* In ten years, we would like to have begun to be recognized by the
national press.
Now more than ever, we need help to turn our goals and our vision into reality. Any amount you can give would be put to use immediately. We regularly incur operational costs such as performance rights fees, publicity expenses, theatre space rentals and artist stipends that our ticket sales do not cover. Your donation would not only go a long way at Exquisite Corps, but it would truly be an investment in a passionate group of young theatre makers with a great deal of ambition, talent and heart.
You may safely donate online by clicking the button below, or mail your check, made out to Exquisite Corps Theatre, to 75 Central St. #4, Somerville, MA 02144.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for letting us be a part of your story.
